Our Story

Prime Lines & Designs is a woman-owned interior design firm serving residential and commercial spaces throughout Northeast Ohio. Built on the belief that a space should feel intentional, personal, and complete — not simply livable or just finished — our work begins where others stop.

What started as a small, hands-on painting operation grew organically through curiosity, craftsmanship, and an instinct to go further than expected. We wanted to push our boundaries. Early projects focused on individual rooms, meticulous preparation, and a commitment to doing things correctly even when no one was watching. Over time, that attention to detail led naturally to more custom work — fabricating luxury vent covers, adding outlet covers to match countertops, and other thoughtfully designed details meant to elevate the spaces we had already painted. From there, furniture selection, custom elements, and finishing touches became a seamless extension of our process.

Room by room and project by project, Prime Lines & Designs evolved into a full-service interior painting and design firm capable of executing everything from refined paint applications to cohesive, fully realized interiors.

As our services expanded, so did our standards. We proudly partner with Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore to provide our clients with best-in-class coatings and access to an expansive range of premium colors and finishes. These partnerships allow us to meet the unique preferences of every client — from timeless neutrals to bold, expressive palettes — while maintaining the durability, performance, and finish quality our work demands. Preparation remains the foundation of every project, with premium products serving as the final layer of excellence.

To further elevate the design experience, we’ve also partnered with Material Bank, giving our clients access to an extensive library of samples for wall coverings and custom enhancements. Through this partnership, curated samples can be delivered directly to our clients’ doorsteps — often overnight — allowing for confident, informed design decisions without unnecessary delays.

Prime Lines & Designs was founded by Kylee Hanna, whose passion for remodeling began early. Kylee painted her first home exterior at just seven years old alongside her parents — a project started when her family purchased their home while her mother was pregnant, and completed once Kylee was old enough to pick up a brush herself. That experience sparked a lifelong appreciation for transformation through patience, effort, and care.

Growing up, Kylee continually reimagined her own spaces — rearranging furniture, refreshing walls, and discovering the sense of control, clarity, and comfort that comes from a clean, thoughtfully designed environment. She learned early that a fresh coat of paint could do more than change a room; it could change how a space feels, functions, and supports the people living within it.

Today, that philosophy guides every project we take on.
